It's time for the first TUNAFEST of the year!

It's time for the first TUNAFEST of the year, this Sunday  from 7 pm on the Big Pier, a 160 kg tuna awaits you!
To the joy of many who enjoyed our new event last year and those who will join us for the first time, we are once again joining forces with the fishermen from Abyss Tuna Fishing and throughout July and August we are bringing delicious and educational heritage moments to the Big Pier.

This year too, Rovinj tuna will be a real magnet for visitors from the moment they arrive at the table where they will be skillfully filleted by Matija Medaković Medo, to the smell of grilled tuna prepared by members of our association.

The dates of all TUNAFEST editions will depend on the catch, so follow our social networks so you can join us in this fantastic experience that combines knowledge about seafood with gastronomic culture, Rovinj hospitality and the unique sounds of our musical heritage.

A special welcome awaits the residents of Rovinj-Rovigno at TUNAFEST. We invite members of the local community to stop by the Ecomuseo-Ecomuseo "Batana" during TUNAFEST and pick up a card with which they can get a discount on the prices of tuna dishes prepared in Batana's gastro house.
The local community is the most important part of all Ecomuseum activities, and its presence gives a special authenticity to each of our initiatives.
