“Nadàl in famìa - Christmas in the family - Natale in famiglia” is the name of the rich holiday program, with which we will take you on an unforgettable carousel of memories of Rovinj's Christmas tradition. From 6.12.2025. to 10.01.2026. in the magical, sparkling forest on the Big Pier, through warm corners and joyful moments, we will present our customs and heritage to you. You can expect:

  • an exhibition of nostalgic Christmas photos from the 1930s to the present day,
  • a ride on an vintage carousel, 
  • old games for children, a fairy-tale photo point and a similarly decorated "Bibi's Kids Corner" in the museum gallery, socializing with St. Nicholas, St. Lucia, Santa Claus, magical elves and Befana, 
  • gift corner at the entrance to the museum with handmade works by artists and creatives, 
  • workshops for wreaths, decorations, candles, greeting cards, fritters, Rovinj fioki, Christmas cookies and Befana stockings, 
  • lectures about Rovinj's Christmas tradition and the painter Bruno Mascarelli,
  • concerts of traditional music,
  • a delicious gastronomic offer in Batana's house, sweetened with the scents of the holidays,
  • a joint brunch on New Year's Eve and a toast on the first day of New Year.
